Our dog Sophie believes that if she is not sleeping or pooping or eating it MUST be time to play ball. We have bought her a bazillion toys, including those fancy expensive fire-hose toys guaranteed to last forever, only to see them be shredded in minutes as if put in a blender. But give Sophie a ball made out of any fabric...rubber, soft plush whatever and she is in heaven!!! When they are all out it looks like a bubble gum machine went off.
First thing in the morning we let her out to "go" and then the next time she wants out to play...sometimes that is 6:30 in the morning!!! She has 3 balls outside and she knows which is which...and she never seems to tire of playing fetch.
Right now Sophie's hair is very long and we think she is at her cutest but soon she will get shaved down again so I just had to take some pictures of our sweet Goldendoodle to share...
This picture makes me laugh though because it looks kind of like a mug shot. But it makes me smile.
and FINALLY my Dahlia has bloomed!!!! I used to live in a yard with about 20 different varieties and this is the one that seems to have made it and bloomed this year. One of my favorite flowers !
